Yesterday evening, a lot of good bands rocked the place. Metal, Hardcore, Punk, Ska, Pop, Techno, Electro, DJ’ing made people party and dance till dawn. Party all night in all the various locations on the Freakstock territory. Wow!

A few highlights of the day have been the flee market, the kids world, the healing rooms and the main seminar at the mainstage. Pastor Nobi celebrated the Lord’s supper with the whole crowd. Nuns and monks are walking around among punks and skinheads. That is an amazing feeling of unity. I call that the Body of Christ!

The weather is great. It rained shortly yesterday evening, but the sun has been shining the whole day today.

Yeah, it has been Nobi’s preaching topic this afternoon on the mainstage. Our favorite lutherian priest preached about ecumenism. Jesus Freaks Eppingen did organize the service on the mainstage, while Jesus Freaks Cologne designed the one in the Turbinenhalle and Jesus Freaks Münster the one in ArtLand. Heavy Worship filled the air in front of the mainstage, God was dancing among the people… Pretty amazing atmosphere.

Yesterday, Storch did preach in the Grand Opening.

The Freakstock site is alive! People are running, walking, talking, chilling around everywhere, the family is united.

The “People’s Kitchen” (Volksküche) cooks food for everyone in a pretty cool location.

Mirko and myself had a nice talk with some Jesus Freaks from Eastern Germany at our “networking hour” (taking place daily in the JFD area, at 2:00 PM)

Afterwards, we met for a private party celebrating DJ Ojo’s birthday, with Champagne and Cake.

And everyone is waiting now for the shows to start.

So… It’s done! Freakstock opened its doors at 6 PM.

All booths have been built up, it smells like food all over the Chicken Market. Jesus Freaks Remscheid are preparing the Grand Opening.

Jesus Freaks Holland took over the JFI place, and you know what? They have beer!!!

Everything has been prepared to receive our foreign guests. The English-speaking Festival Guides have been printed and delivered, Careport is ready to get all the people, and the party can get started!
