The Final Stretch (See you next year!)
Veröffentlicht am 03.08.2009Goodbye farewell Freakstock 2009!
Party, Party, Party. Yesterday was frkn awsm, bands rocked the place until dawn. Hip-Hop and Rock on the Herzstück stage, Hardcore and Metal in the Turbinenhalle, Electro and Drum’n'Bass in the Raketenclub, Punk Rock in the Dorfdisko, Folk in ArtLand, Hardcore on the OpenStage, and even the copts played egyptian music at the falafel booth (yummy!). Highlights of the evening being The Violet Burning, Hands and To Leave A Trace (Ukraine rocks!).
This morning, an awesome service took place on the main stage, organised by a German underground church called “Haustreffen” from Hamburg. Kristian (lead singer of JesusBurger) preached the gospel in power, followed by a mighty prayer time.
Jesus, we thank you for the weather. It’s raining now, but it rained only two times very briefly during the festival.
We’re all tired but happy, and the fellowship is going while building down the festival. In a few minutes, diner will be served, followed by a party in the Schädelstätte.
Cheers and Hallelujah! See you next year!
… and don’t forget: All Copt’s Aren’t Bastards!!!
